Combined the two callbacks assigned to backupIntervalTimer. After that, I had trouble figuring out what was causing the issues and ended up doing a complete rewrite. Still had some issues where it seems timers were elapsing a few milliseconds before they should and seeing the time a few milliseconds away as the next backup time. Added a 2 second buffer. Now it seems to be perfect.
